UCLA Nobel Laureates

External Affairs’ mission is: To build enduring relationships that promote advocacy and financial support for UCLA.

UCLA External Affairs advances UCLA’s mission of teaching, research and community service through a coordinated campus-wide communications, advocacy and development effort. The common goal is to connect UCLA’s faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends through strategies and programs designed to build long-term relationships and support for the University.

On April 1, 2008, Rhea Turteltaub was appointed Vice Chancellor, UCLA External Affairs. She manages External Affairs with the help of a senior team and an executive support staff.
