How do we show kindness when we are unable to be close to others?
When life looks dismal, how do we get into the right mindset to be kind? Why does kindness toward others make us feel better? Is kindness contagious? What are some of the small things we can do every day to act kindly toward strangers and toward people we know?
Evolutionary anthropologist Dan Fessler is director of the recently launched UCLA Bedari Kindness Institute. He is joined by UCLA College’s Melissa Abraham to discuss how kindness may look different but abounds even in these challenging conditions.
